There is a misconception that all Americans have access to healthcare. The truth is there are over 27 million uninsured adults living in the United States today. Many come from working families that make too much to qualify for Medicaid but cannot afford private insurance. Because they make “too much but not enough” they are often forced to choose between paying bills or taking care of their health.

MLK Health puts medicine on mission by providing free healthcare to uninsured and underinsured adults who fall in this insurance gap. All of our services are at no-cost to our patients.
